Cidade do Rio em Jeep

Nossa aventura segue para o Estádio Mario Filho _ o Maracanã, palco de grandes espetáculos do futebol brasileiro. O Sambódromo _ passarela do desfile das escolas de Samba do Rio, também está incluído no nosso roteiro. Assim, como a Catedrla Metropolitana do Rio. No retorno ao hotel, não poderíamos deixar de passar sob os famosos Arcos da Lapa, arqueduto em estilo romano; e pelo grandioso Teatro Municipal. Para finalizar o tour, uma vista deslumbrante da Lagoa Rodrigues de Freitas, que emoldurada por montanhas e protegida pela estátua do Cristo Redentor, impressiona por sua beleza cariocas e visitantes. IN ENGLISH - Panoramic City Tour - By Jeep
A panoramic jeep tour. By one side you will have the company of green hills and residential neighborhoods and by the other the blue sea’s breeze. In this atmosphere you can enjoy the “carioca spirit”, of which good humor and joy are recognized by all its visitors, who immediately feel the desire to behold its beauties.
This tour starts with a view of the Sugar Loaf from Botafogo`s beach, which is a natural, historical and touristic point of Rio de Janeiro, with its ogive format, privileged location, special presence in the city’s story, original access to its top and serving as a reference to navigators from the sea or from the skies.
Next stop: Little Squares Monument. This monument is kept by an alternation of the three Arm Forces: Army, Navy and Aeronautics; in him are the remains of the Brazilians Expeditionists who fought and fell at the Second World War. They were brought from the Cemetery of Pistoia, in Italy, in 1960.
We continue our tour to the historical downtown of Rio de Janeiro, at March first street where we will visit the Palace of Tiradentes, the old Imperial Palace, the Brazil Bank Cultural Centre, the Post-Office and Telegraph Cultural Centre and the Carmo Churches.
After we enter in the Main Avenue of Downtown, the President Vargas Avenue, we will found the Candelaria church, a marriage stage for the carioca society.
We follow our adventure straight to Maracanã, the biggest stadium in the world, where the cheerers make a show, explaining why soccer is a national passion.
Returning to the hotel we will pass by Sambódromo, with 700 meters of length and a capacity for 88.500 people, where happens one of the greatest spectacles of the planet, the carioca Carnaval. After that, we will pass by the Metropolitan Cathedral of Rio de Janeiro, created in 1676.
In a panoramic tour like this we couldn’t think of not passing by the famous Lapa Arcs, an aqueduct, in roman style, composed of a double rank of Arcades, and the awesome Municipal Theater of Rio de Janeiro, a stage for great presentations.
To finish this wonderful tour, nothing would be better than a breathtaking vision from the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, framed by mountains and embraced by the Christ Redeemer, impressing the visitor with the sunset and its gold reflex on the Lagoon’s placid and silent waters. As it happens, this place, connected with the sea by the Alah’s Garden’ duct between Ipanema and Leblon, becomes a great meeting point for the cariocas and the visitors.

Circuito histórico em saveiro na Baia da Guanabara com almoço em Niterói
A beleza da Baía da Guanabara, segunda maior do litoral brasileiro, já foi palco de muitas viagens artísticas e históricas. A sedução que a baía exerce sobre quem a contempla é mais que uma conseqüência de suas peculiaridades geográficas, faz parte de um encanto. As terras ao seu redor são cobertas pela densa e exuberante vegetação de mata atlântica, que já foram habitadas por índios e fonte de inspiração para poemas, como o Canto do Rio em Sol de Carlos Drumond de Andrade.
Um passeio de barco pela grandiosa Baía da Guanabara nos leva a entender essa magia, apresentando a Cidade Maravilhosa sob uma nova perspectiva: do mar para terra. Partindo da Marina da Glória, belíssimo espaço de atracação de pequenas embarcações e veleiros, passará próximos a monumentos de elevado valor histórico: A Fortaleza de São João que abriga; as ruínas do Forte São Teodósio, o bem preservado Forte de São José com um conjunto de dezessete casamatas e um enorme paiol de 34 metros de comprimento; a Fortaleza de Santa Cruz, localizada no bairro de Jurujuba, um exemplo de arquitetura portuguesa de fortificações. com casamatas, corredores, masmorras e celas. Sob controle militar, mantém-se bem preservada, revelando a mesma beleza que ofereceu aos primeiros navegadores que cruzavam a Baía da Guanabara; a Ilha Fiscal, palco do último baile do Brasil Império, que se destaca por sua beleza exótica.
No roteiro avistaremos o MAC – Museu de Arte Contemporânea, uma magnífica obra de Oscar Niemeyer, construída na ponta de uma pedra.

No retorno, visão panorâmica da ponte Presidente Costa e Silva, que por ligar a cidade do Rio de Janeiro à Niterói, ficou mais conhecida como ponte Rio-Niterói. Com seus 12 Km de extensão, tornou-se um importante fator de desenvolvimento do comércio, da indústria e turismo.

IN ENGLISH - Guanabara Bay with lunch in Niteroi
The beauty of the Guanabara Bay, the second biggest in the Brazilian coast, has already been a stage to many artistic and historical journeys.
The seduction that the bay exerts over the ones who contemplate them is more than a consequence of its geographic peculiarities; it is a part of its charms.
The lands around it are covered with the dense and exuberant vegetation of the Mata Atlântica, which have already been inhabited by Indians and a source of inspiration to poems like Canto do Rio em Sol by Carlos Drumond de Andrade.
A boat tour by the grand Guanabara Bay makes us understand this magic, presenting the Wonderful City under a new perspective from sea to land.
Departing from the Marina da Glória, beautiful space of anchoring for small boats and sailboats, we will pass by historical landmarks: the Fortaleza de São João that holds besides the ruins of the Forte São Teodósio, the well preserved Forte de São José with a set of seventeen casemates and a huge storehouse 34 meters long; the Fortaleza de Santa Cruz, located in the neighborhood of Jurujuba, an example of Portuguese architecture for fortresses, it has casemates, hallways, dungeons and cells. Under military control, it is kept well preserved, revealing the same beauty that it ofered the first sea explorers who crossed the Guanabara Bay; the Ilha Fiscal, place of the last ball of the brazilian Empire, is detached by its exotic beauty.
Continuing the boat tour, we observe the MAC – Museu de Arte Contemporânea, a magnificent masterpiece of Oscar Niemeyer built at the tip of a rock.
In the return journey, we will pass under the bridge Presidente Costa e Silva, which is well known as Ponte Rio-Niterói, because it connects the city of Rio de Rio de Janeiro to Niterói. With its 14 Km of length it has become an important development factor of the commerce, industry and tourism.
